“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
— John 8:12—
I don’t consider this to be something that will win any poetry contests, but occasionally I enjoy just writing some prose
Consider this a prayer for all those who find the light at their feet a bit too dim for comfort.
God bless.
O Light, darken my path! Without a plan, I fear thy wrath. How can I know the right choice to take? For on my knees no words my voice will make. My path has no light by my feet. But one day the Light I shall meet. Wait a little longer and all will be clear. In God's time, little soul, you will have nothing to fear. You know that God will never leave nor forsake, but the sin you hold on to, that He must take. For now, the Light tarries in His departure from above. Thus, in this darkness, you must never forget God is love.
